A computer science engineer and HEC graduate, Clément Merville has held various management and business development roles at major video-game publishers, including Ubisoft, Kalisto, Wanadoo Edition and Oberon Media. In 2010, Clément anticipated new uses of video games, especially in the field of training, and identified gaming as a powerful learning vector: Manzalab was born!

A graduate of Arts Décoratifs de Paris (ENSAD) with 20 years' experience in interactive computing, Vincent Berlioz specialises in business administration and production for major digital projects. He has founded several companies and was previously CEO of Wanadoo Edition, France Telecom's video game subsidiary, where he led large teams. Together with Clément Merville, he foresaw the emergence of the serious game market in 2010 and brings to Manzalab his expertise in production and managing people. The two men form a complementary couple, driven by a shared passion for games and digital innovation.

Samy graduated from the Institut d'Etudes Politiques in Aix-en-Provence in 1997 and became a serial entrepreneur in video games and tech. After 3 years spent at Electronic Arts in Ireland, he joined Manzalab in 2016 as head of business development, before taking up the post of Operations Director. He first met Clément Merville in the early nineties at the French Diplomacy championships!

The holder of an MA from ESC Rennes and an MBA from Wake Forest University - Babcock Graduate School of Management (USA), Valérie Radelet spent 15 years at Ubisoft Entertainment, starting out as a video-game project manager and rising to head the firm's Development of Training Contents department. She has launched numerous projects for all platforms. In 2011, she joined Manzalab as a project manager, and went on to become Production Director. She is one of Manzalab's very first employees! Today she is Customer Relationship Director.

Maurice Leblond is an HEC graduate. Founder of TF1 Vidéo, the film distribution division of French TV channel TF1, Maurice went on to oversee the firm's investment in international cinema, and headed its American subsidiary, TF1 USA, in Los Angeles. With executive producer credits for a number of films (including The Contender and Under Suspicion), he also signed production deals with US studios for major releases (including 12 Monkeys and Casino). He was behind the film Le Petit Nicolas, and also worked as a producer for Yemaya Films (M6, France TV). He joined Manzalab in 2012 as Business Development Director and is today driving the company's international growth, particularly in North America and Asia.

For over 22 years, Julien Caporal has been passionately devoted to new organisational and learning practices. His PhD focused on hypermedia and digital mapping. A true visionary, he has been fully immersed in the web from the early years, founding Atcom Multimedia in 1995, one of the first French web agencies. In 2001, while working for Unilog, he co-founded H2H, a creator of collaborative solutions for the banking and pharmaceutical industries. From 2006, he led the design, development and deployment teams for custom training systems, building the e-learning, blended-learning and serious games offerings from Unilog (CGI).

With a degree in modern literature, Nicolas worked in broadcasting for more than 20 years as a writer, director and editor. A director of corporate films as well as a script writer for film and TV, he has contributed to several books focusing on cinema. Co-author with Arnaud Balvay of the book John Ford et les Indiens, he lectures on cinema classics at Paris School of Business. Nicolas joined Manzalab in 2016 to lead script development.

After graduating from SUPINFOCOM Valenciennes in 2001, Yann quickly rose to the position of Lead Artist at 4x Technology. In late 2002, he co-founded video-game development company Kylotonn in Paris, holding the roles of Production Director and Creative Director for over 10 years. During this time, he worked on some 30 console and PC games of widely varying styles. At the same time, Yann became heavily involved in industry-specific education for the video game industry, working with prestigious institutions such as Gobelins, Pole IIID, and Université Paris 13. In 2012, he moved to China, where he worked for 5 years at Studio Kylotonn China/Elven Studio developing numerous mobile games for clients including Marvel and Disney. In 2016, he returned to France to embark on a new adventure with Manzalab.

With a master's degree in Communication, Networks and Images from Université de Paris-Est and further master's degree in Computer Science, Aurélien Lévêque specialises in building 3D engines. With extensive experience in games production gained at Visual Impact, he is a specialist in virtual reality and multiplatform real-time 3D graphics. He joined Manzalab at its founding, becoming the company's first employee! He went on to lead software development at the firm and is today head of virtual reality production in Manzalab's Aix-en-Provence office.

After graduating in 2003 from ISART Digital, the video game and 3D animation school, Martin Schuchewytsch spent 10 years at Visual Impact directing graphics production for video games on all platforms. He joined Manzalab in 2011 and, ever since, has drawn on his vast experience in digital image technologies to great effect. Having started out running artistic technical production, Martin is today part of Manzalab's Aix-en-Provence office dedicated to new developments in virtual reality.

Vincent Dondaine has over 16 years' experience in the video game and serious gaming industry. He has worked at Kalisto, Coktel and Vivendi, and co-founded Bulkypix. From video game tester to game designer, from project manager to entrepreneur, Vincent has an end-to-end vision of the digital production process. He's a tech evangelist and business developer who specialises in new technologies, particularly virtual and augmented reality.

Grégory Fabre is a serial tech and media entrepreneur. An ENSIIE graduate, he sold his first IT services company in 1999 and became head of IT for Transfert magazine. Grégory also spent two years as director of software projects for the French prime minister's office, before going on to co-found Terra Eco, a pioneering sustainable development magazine.

A designer with some 25 years' experience, Jean-Yves embraces creation in all its forms, from product design to sound and visual design. A graduate of Arts Appliqués de Paris (ENSAAMA), he has led numerous design management projects for brands including Maserati, Bentley Motors, Focal, Habitat and Château Cheval Blanc. He is also the creator of Cotoons and Creative Director at Elipson. He leads teams of product and graphic designers and provides strategic guidance on product collections, brand positioning and design benchmarking.

A graduate of the Olivier de Serres art school, Antoine Vivet began his career in communication and branding. Soon afterwards, he made two award-winning short films. Antoine then naturally moved into web, motion and UX design. In 2000, he was appointed Creative Director at Babel@Stal where he led a team of 20 designers. Then, in 2004, he founded the LONGUE-VUE design agency, winning major clients such as RATP, Orange R&D and the Palace of Versailles. Ever since, Antoine has been constantly developing and refreshing his vision of the user experience issues surrounding interface design for new technology.
